Grade it properly.
Twelve presets, eleven adjustments, per-colour HSL across six bands, and your own saved looks. Everything runs in your browser — the photo is never uploaded.

An order that works
Editing is much easier if you go in the same order every time, because each step changes what the next one should be.
- Exposure first. Get the overall brightness right before anything else — every other control behaves differently on a photo that is a stop too dark.
- Then highlights and shadows. Recover the sky, open the shadows. This is where most photos are actually fixed.
- Then white balance. Temperature for the blue–orange axis, tint for green–magenta. Fix the cast before you judge any colour.
- Then colour, with HSL. Now that the tones are right, grade individual colours rather than reaching for global saturation.
- Effects last. Fade, vignette and grain are stylistic. Applied first they would be amplified by everything that followed.
Build a look you can repeat
A recognisable feed comes from consistency, not from any one striking edit. Once you find a combination you like, save it as a recipe and apply it to everything — then adjust only exposure per photo. That is how a coherent profile is actually built, and it takes seconds per image instead of minutes.
Questions
What is HSL editing?
Hue, saturation and luminance, applied to one colour band at a time rather than the whole photo. It lets you deepen a sky without touching skin tones, or drain a distracting colour without making the whole image grey. It is the difference between a saturation slider and actually grading an image.
Why are there only six colour bands?
Red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple cover how people actually describe colour, and each band blends into its neighbours rather than stopping at a hard edge. Splitting the wheel into more bands adds sliders without adding control.
What is a recipe?
Your own saved look. Dial in adjustments you like, save them under a name, and apply them to any later photo — which is how you get a consistent feed. Recipes are stored in this browser only, capped at 20, and are never uploaded.
Does editing reduce quality?
The preview is rendered small for speed, but the download is processed from the original at full resolution and exported at JPEG quality 95. Each save re-encodes, so edit once from the original rather than repeatedly re-editing an export.
Why is exporting slower than the preview?
The preview is 900px; a full-size export can be twenty times that many pixels. HSL is the heaviest operation because it converts every pixel between colour spaces, so a large photo with HSL adjustments takes a few seconds.
What do highlights and shadows do?
Highlights act on the brightest tones and shadows on the darkest, each fading out toward the middle. Pull highlights down to recover a blown sky; lift shadows to open up a dark foreground without flattening the whole picture the way exposure would.
